Job Description

Overview Silverstone Retirement Community, located in historic Fort Worth, Texas, offers quality, affordable housing for seniors in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Our community features convenient access to shopping, dining, medical services, and local senior centers. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain our property, support residents, and ensure a clean, safe, and well‑functioning community. What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as front-line maintenance staff, supporting daily repair, upkeep, and improvement needs throughout the community.
  • Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, painting, flooring, minor repairs, apartment renovations, and work order completion.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal through mowing, landscaping, irrigation, and general outdoor upkeep.
  • Coordinate apartment move-ins, move-outs, and inspections while maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to secure materials and services while supporting compliance with safety standards and housing regulations.
Monday - Friday - 8-4:30
Pay:
$26.43 / hr DOE About You
  • Experience in building maintenance, repairs, or a related skilled trade field.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and complete documentation accurately.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
