Swimming Pool Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making it essential for candidates to have a background in service technician roles. Duties Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and make necessary repairs Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks Balance pool chemicals to ensure water quality and safety Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide effective solutions Document service performed on each pool visit for client records Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs Qualifications Have a valid drivers license Must be able to swim Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning preferred Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks Previous experience as a service technician is a plus Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients Must be willing to work in different weather conditions Able to lift up to 100 pounds
