Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and systems. This role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs. You will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to schedules and procedures, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, and implement corrective actions to restore equipment functionality. Essential Skills 5+ years' experience as a maintenance technician. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in industrial equipment. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and understanding industrial schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of solenoids, actuators, sensors, cylinders, conveyors, and motors. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookshire, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
