We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and mechanical components. Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults and ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards are met. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate repairs or upgrades. Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing or facilities environments with a focus on customer service excellence. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems. Proficiency in working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes. Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial or residential applications. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Supervising or leadership experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices across diverse settings including manufacturing plants or residential buildings.
