Facility Maint Tech I Spider Mountain - BURNET, TX 78611
Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect and repair all buildings and structures in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. Receive, prioritize, diagnose, plan and perform repairs. Assign and track progress of these repairs and the performance of the repairs made. Provide routine and repair facility maintenance and grounds maintenance to ensure safe, effective and proper performance. Develop, implement and conduct routine preventative maintenance schedules and identify potential issues. Inspect all structures and equipment to assess needed repairs, damages or maintenance needs to ensure safety and/or coordinate repairs. Respond promptly to any and all emergency maintenance issues to safely and properly correct the issue in a timely, cost-effective manner. Oversee, and perform all facets of groundskeeping within the Thunderbird Lodge and Spider Mountain grounds. Maintain clean, safe and presentable lodging, recreation and common areas for guests.
Qualifications Skills and Qualifications:
Must possess knowledge skills, repair/maintenance and safe usage of power tools, equipment, grounds equipment, etc. Must possess problem-solving skills and hold the ability to diagnose issues, identify solutions and perform tasks to rectify the issues. Must possess organizational skills in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage scheduling, etc.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in potentially inclement weather conditions. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull objects up to 100 pounds. Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, squat or lay in order to perform job responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license. Share job details to
