This energetic role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and supervising maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify repair needs and potential hazards. Perform maintenance tasks across various systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers to diagnose and resolve technical problems. Oversee facilities maintenance projects, including residential painting, welding repairs, and system upgrades. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong emphasis on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with welding, residential painting, and general facilities upkeep. Familiarity with work order management and record keeping. Strong mechanical knowledge. Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish to coordinate with team members and vendors effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities and maintaining high safety standards.
