Responsible to perform a variety of maintenance tasks for Casa Hermosa. Responsible for performing functions and duties requiring power and/or hand tools for general maintenance, repairs, and construction with minimal supervision. If needed as backup to respond to emergency calls after hours, and on weekends. Also, performs routine electrical such as repairs to electrical outlets, switches and light fixtures. Performs plumbing repairs in response to service request from tenants such as damaged faucets, sinks, and water cutoffs. Makes carpentry repairs including repairs to damaged walls, ceilings, doors, door locks, cabinets and drawers, roofs, and windows. Repair and adjusts various types of appliance and equipment. Assists in the cleaning and repair of housing units during the make-ready process. Documents in writing appropriate events and activities. Performs unit and ground inspections. Performs other related duties as assigned. Be able to communicate clearly/concisely both orally/in writing; be bondable and eligible for coverage under Authority fleet auto insurance. Must have valid Tx Driver's License.

English/Spanish highly desirable.
