Temp Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Join a Team That Keeps Operations Running at Peak Performance We are seeking a skilled 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in Denison, Texas! This position plays a critical role in maintaining production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. If you have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician provides support to production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving mechanical equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and production support requests. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of industrial machines and equipment. Dismantle equipment, replace defective components, reassemble machinery, and make operational adjustments. Perform machine overhauls, including fitting bearings, replacing worn components, and restoring equipment functionality. Assist production teams with mechanical and machine operation issues. Support facility maintenance and building-related repairs as needed. Train and mentor less experienced maintenance personnel when appropriate. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Work safely around machinery, chemicals, and industrial equipment. Maintain dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as required. Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2-5 years of maintenance or related mechanical experience . Technical training in a mechanical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience with:
Hydraulics Electronics repair Industrial mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints Layout drawings Equipment manuals and machine instructions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Preferred Vocational or technical school training in a mechanical field. PLC troubleshooting and repair experience. Physical Requirements Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and work in various positions. Lift and move up to 100 pounds without assistance. Climb ladders, machinery, equipment, and roofs when necessary. Work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment, machinery, and industrial materials. Why Join Us?
