Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel to ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair of guest rooms and hotel facilities. Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Paint walls, repair drywall, and fix doors, locks, and windows. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Replace light bulbs, filters, and other building components. Maintain the hotel's pool, grounds, and common areas (if applicable). Follow all safety procedures and hotel policies. Keep maintenance tools and work areas clean and organized. Report major repair needs to the maintenance manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
