Job Description

Job Summary We are currently seeking experienced Service Tech for our property. HVAC certification and prior apartment maintenance experience required. In addition to performing all maintenance duties at the community, superior customer service to all guests and residents is expected. This position is for an individual that strives to make residents feel welcome and comfortable in their well-kept apartment. General Job Functions (but not limited to) Must be A/c certified Job requires you to be on call for emergencies. + Participate in all types of maintenance projects. + Perform electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. + Perform plumbing work such as cleaning stoppages, replacing fittings, etc. + Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, window coverings, and locks. + Paint, interior and exterior. + Perform carpentry work and repair concrete, masonry, roofing, and fencing, when required. + Assist in custodial work and in grounds work when necessary. + Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage. + Be responsible for refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy. + Periodically inspect all units, buildings and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance as scheduled. + Concern for work-safety programs. + Willingness to pitch in and work in areas other than strictly repair maintenance; i.e. janitorial, custodial, gardening, etc. + Ability to assist the resident manager in any area where needed. Qualifications/Education/Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) are required. HVAC Certification Required. Prior apartment maintenance experience Employee will be required to work a flexible work week, to include evenings or weekends as needed by the on-call schedule.

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
