Now Hiring:
Maintenance Technician $30•40/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM•3:30 PM & Saturday, 5:00 AM•1:30 PM A well-established corrugated packaging company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in keeping machinery running smoothly and efficiently. This role will eventually grow into a Lead.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a wide range of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will also lead preventive maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and ensure safe, consistent production.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and control systems Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and machine inspections Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues Adjust and calibrate machinery to maintain quality standards Assist with equipment installations and upgrades Follow OSHA safety standards and promote a clean, hazard-free environment Keep accurate maintenance records and logs Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve equipment problems Maintain and track spare parts inventory Perform general facility maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Technical degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus Ability to read schematics and technical manuals Must be a reliable team player with strong communication skills salary: $70,000•$83,200 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 5 AM•3:30

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Facilities Maintenance & Repair:
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical and possibly fabricate railings and facility items for functionality.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Diagnose malfunctions and failures in production equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and electrical systems.
Machine Adjustments & Calibration:
Adjust and calibrate machinery to maintain product quality and equipment efficiency.
Installation & Upgrades:
Assist with the installation, modification, and upgrading of equipment to improve production efficiency.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance logs.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Parts Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure necessary components are available for repairs.
Facility Maintenance:
Perform general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks as needed.
