Job description We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs to guest rooms and public areas. You will be responsible for applying your skills to ensure equipment and building systems are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and solid technical knowledge in drywall repair, plumbing and electrical. Responsibilities Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps in walls, painting, etc. Check control panels and electrical fixtures to identify issues Install appliances and equipment Check the irrigation system and repair lawn sprinklers as needed. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, a/c air filters, tub drains, tub caulking, etc in all guest rooms on a schedule. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during projects Report projects to property managers. Skills Proven experience in maintaining a commercial property or similar experience. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent.
