Maintenance Technician Oasis MHC is a manufactured home community of 159 units located in Primera. We currently have an immediate employment opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician who can support our community and join our growing team.

The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily maintenance duties consisting of preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance, regular inspections and repairs, and building and unit upkeep. We are seeking a self-motivated technician with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. The technician must have excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document time and accomplishments. The technician must provide their tools and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a schedule of work orders provided by the corporate office. Follow up with management on projects/inspections, ensure deadlines are met, and keep in contact with property management and residents as required. Perform general upkeep of buildings, units, and grounds to maintain community appearance. Complete or assist in the operations, maintenance, repair, and replacement of cabinetry, countertops, HVAC equipment and systems, electrical, and plumbing. Repair drywall, patch, texture, and paint. Perform maintenance repairs and installations under local, state, and national codes. Read gas, electric, and water meters, and report to management monthly. Ability to problem-solve and perform general maintenance and maintenance person tasks. Must be customer service oriented and work well with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience and general knowledge of carpentry, drywall repair, basic electricity, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and basic grounds maintenance. Must have a clean driving record and current driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent Experience in property management Familiar with Fair Housing Laws Ability to build a positive rapport with tenants and property managers. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Complete projects on time Must be able to move, lift, and carry material up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and use common hand and power tools.
