The Maintenance Technician will perform day-to day maintenance activities of the CFA Supply Distribution Center (DC) building envelope, building equipment, space occupied by CFA Supply, and common areas of the site.

Responsibilities Perform daily inspections, preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance of the building envelope, building equipment, space occupied by CFA Supply, and common areas of the site Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer specs, work order instructions, and warranty agreements Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner Perform maintenance activities in a reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with safety, quality, compliance requirements and industry standards, and CFA's SOPs Perform off-shift critical work and emergency repairs when needed Identify reoccurring problems impacting asset life and identify possible solutions Load financial and operational data into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and its financial systems in an accurate, complete, and timely manner Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) High school diploma 5+ years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar operations Proficiency in equipment maintenance, mechanical design, and assembly Mechanical, electrical, automation experience Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, including hydraulic maintenance, with trouble-shooting experience Experience with blueprints and shop drawings Possesses an uncompromising commitment to food safety for customers and overall safety for the organization and its employees Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Availability for on-call support and shift flexibility, as needed Team player, also able to work independently when necessary Excellent written/verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills; quick learner Intermediate computer skills Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) 7+ years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar operations Associate degree; certified maintenance technician Hands-on maintenance and engineering experience in a manufacturing or distribution operations environment Engineering background and automation maintenance experience, including trouble-shooting experience Prior Building Systems, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, Ammonia Refrigeration, and Robotics experience beneficial Prior experience in the use of CMMS Knowledge of applicable SQC requirements Quick and versatile learning skills, adaptive and open to change Required Years of Experience 5 Travel Requirements 25% Required Level of Education High School Diploma or GED Preferred Level of Education Associate's Degree Preferred Major/Concentration Engineering Relocation Assistance Provided No Work Environment Warehouse
