In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential, commercial, or industrial properties, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, roofing, and concrete finishing. Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Repair projects such as fixture installation, door hanging, or cabinetry. Fabricate or modify materials using welding, masonry techniques, or concrete forming to meet project specifications. Support heavy equipment operation when necessary for excavation or material transport. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met and assist with restoration or remodeling projects as needed. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment for various construction tasks. Knowledge of multiple trades, including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming, stucco), roofing, drywall installation, and flooring. Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes. Ability to perform construction inspection duties, ensuring safety compliance and quality control. Skills in fixture installation such as glass installation or cabinet mounting; experience with caulking and plastering is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; ability to operate heavy machinery safely when required.
