Killeen, TX Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Carpentry Teamwork Interpersonal skills Maintenance High school diploma or GED Driver's License Electrical systems Driving EPA Universal Certification Full Job Description What we are looking for: Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis: Electrical and plumbing A/C and heating systems Appliances Water irrigation systems Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings Roofing, gutters, fasteners Interior/exterior lights Gas fixtures and appliances Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors Door locks, P.O. boxes and locks Ceiling leaks Pool areas, tile, hot tub/spa, pool furniture Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. Assist make-ready staff as required to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years' experience in maintenance property management
  • EPA Universal Certification Required
  • CPO Certification Preferred
  • Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. information as required by daily operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
  • Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • May be required to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priority/emergency situations.
  • Must be able to work as part of an on-call rotation
  • Stooping, standing, climbing (ladders and stairs) as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
