The technician documents maintenance activities, operates heavy machinery, and assists with work orders and parts management. What you'll do: Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures. Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting signs of wear and maintenance activities. Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete minor repairs under supervision. Operate and inspect heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety procedures and certification requirements. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues using blueprints and repair manuals. Maintain accurate records of parts usage, work orders, and maintenance logs. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. What you'll bring: Experience performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ability to inspect, diagnose, and document facility and equipment conditions using blueprints, manuals, and repair catalogs. Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards. Strong organizational skills to complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and parts requests accurately. Capability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs and coordinate vehicle maintenance and operation.
