Job Description:

Ron's Overhead Doors is seeking a reliable and skilled Overhead Door Technician to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This position offers flexibility with scheduling and the opportunity to earn based on performance through a personalized commission structure. Work is assigned based on customer demand and job approvals, so hours will vary and are not limited to a traditional 8-5 schedule.

Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair residential and light commercial garage doors and openers Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment Complete jobs efficiently and safely

Qualifications:

Experience with overhead/garage door installation and repair preferred Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently Strong work ethic and dependable

Compensation:

Commission-based pay (details discussed upon hire) Earnings based on completed and approved jobs Flexible schedule

Schedule:

Work is assigned as jobs are approved No guaranteed daily hours Flexible, based on availability and workload
