Duties Conduct thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors, and maintaining water clarity. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure water safety and quality. Inspect pool equipment including filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform basic repairs or coordinate with service technicians for complex fixes. Use hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs performed, and equipment status. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients' property. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about work performed and recommending ongoing maintenance needs. Experience Prior experience in pool maintenance or service technician roles is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding pool systems and troubleshooting issues effectively. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, using hand tools and power tools confidently. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance procedures. Strong background in using various maintenance tools with precision and safety awareness. Service technician experience will be considered an asset for diagnosing complex system problems quickly.
