Objective:

Repair and maintain chlorine production equipment (Electrolysis)

Qualification Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid state driver license
  • Recommend a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good language, reading and writing skills
Training:

Will be trained on all company policies and procedures after hire. Will be trained on client company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure productivity and quality by following the standard assembly, disassembly procedures in manual for electrolyzer assembly, disassembly and membrane pretreatment
  • Perform work safely in accordance with established policies and procedures of facility.
  • Maintain housekeeping around work area, around cell maintenance room, and cell maintenance shop.
  • Ensure that no damage is done to membranes during transportation or assembly.
  • Responsible for safe transportation of electrolyzer from cell assembly shop to cell room
  • Will maintain electrolyzers, associated piping, and equipment.
  • Ensure gasket adhesion to elements is complete prior to membrane mounting.
  • Ensure that membrane is mounted correctly between anode and cathode.
  • Measure membrane dimensions before and after pretreatment to ensure correct expansion.
  • Delicate handling of membrane of extreme importance due to high cost of replacement.
  • Will use grinding equipment and air ratchet tools in performance of duties.
  • Will operate forklift and overhead bridge crane in performance of duties.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.
  • Will work with and assist unit plant operators as needed during perform of duties. Important Abilities
