Job Description
POSITION
: Maintenance Tech 3
SHIFT :
Monday
•Friday, 5:00 am
•5:00 pm (hours may differ depending on production)
PAY RATE
: $24.16
•$27.00+ per hour DOE + Full Benefits Package
LOCATION
: Lubbock, TX Responsible for providing maintenance at the facility. Perform scheduled and nonscheduled maintenance tasks on equipment throughout the entire site with minimal direct supervision. Includes production equipment/machines, forklifts, trucks, tractors, trailers etc, Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance to equipment as required. Perform building and grounds maintenance. Maintain maintenance records. Procure and stock sufficient parts for equipment in cooperation with supervisor. Communicate with supervisor/manager on status of equipment. Communicate with equipment manufacturers to troubleshoot issues and order required parts. Make recommendations on maintenance needs and requirements. Willingness to train others. Read tape measure to 1/16". Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform LOTO and complete proper documentation when needed Valid Driver's License. Willingness to work flexible hours as required. Work at elevations up to 30 feet. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain and wind). Perform scheduled safety inspections throughout the facility. Follow all company safety and quality requirements. Prompt and dependable attendance. Other duties as assigned. Mechanical knowledge and experience. Understand electrical control. Basic computer skills Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions and being dependable and trustworthy. Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work related problems Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative. Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information. Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative. High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years in industrial and electrical maintenance preferred.
