We're looking for a dependable Floor Tech who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing the immediate results of a job well done. What You'll Do As our Floor Tech, you'll help maintain the appearance and safety of our community by:
- Maintaining hard floor surfaces through stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and refinishing.
- Cleaning and shampooing carpeted areas throughout the community.
- Operating commercial floor care equipment safely and effectively.
- Performing routine maintenance to keep floors looking their best year round.
- Responding promptly to spills and other floor related safety concerns.
- Assisting with moving furniture when needed for floor care projects.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies while following all safety procedures.
- Working closely with our Environmental Services team to provide an exceptional living environment for residents. Qualifications What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial floor care or housekeeping preferred.
- Experience operating floor machines, buffers, burnishers, or carpet extractors is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- A positive attitude and genuine respect for older adults.
