Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Residential Flat Glass Window Film Installer to join our team. In this senior-level role, you will specialize in the expert installation of high-performance window films on residential properties (single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-unit buildings). You will handle complex projects involving security films, solar control, ceramic, decorative, and privacy films while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform professional, defect-free installation of window films on flat glass surfaces in residential homes and buildings. Expertly apply ceramic, spectrally selective, security, UV/IR rejection, decorative, and frost/etched films. Conduct precise measurements, pattern design, and seamless application on large windows, doors, skylights, and specialty glass. Manage full-home or multi-story window film projects from start to finish. Provide expert consultation to homeowners on film selection, energy efficiency, glare reduction, UV protection, and security benefits. Perform thorough post-installation inspections, quality control, and customer walkthroughs. Train and mentor junior installers on proper techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Maintain accurate job documentation, warranties, and photo records. Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and local building code requirements. Keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum 3-7+ years of hands-on residential flat glass window film installation experience. Proven expertise working with large residential glass surfaces, multi-story homes, and challenging installations.
Skills & Competencies:
Master-level installation skills with exceptional attention to detail and a near-zero defect rate. Strong knowledge of residential window film types, performance specifications, and application methods. Proficiency with industry tools, plotter cutters, and heat-shrinking techniques. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications from major manufacturers (Xpel, 3M, LLumar, SunTek, Madico, Huper Optik, etc.). Experience leading large-scale residential projects. Knowledge of energy efficiency ratings (SHGC, VT, U-Value) and security film applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort working on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions. Standing for extended periods and working in awkward positions.
