Full Job Description Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining and performing maintenance, and repair, of water features, fountains, & pump stations. Other duties include special construction projects and assisting with facilities maintenance when needed. CPO Certificate and experience wiring electrical motors is Highly Encouraged.
Duties:
Considerable knowledge of pumps, water quality and facility life support systems. Some of the equipment we service: All types of irrigation pumps All types of water feature pumps Control panels Electrical components Connecting Electrical Motors to a power source Lake leveling sensors Lighting fixture replacement UV Bulb replacement Knowledge of occupational hazards and appropriate safety precautions. Knowledge of operations associated pump repair. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of hand and power tools. Perform other related duties as assigned. Meets with client on a regular basis or as agreed Communicates effectively with clients Assures legendary customer service at all times Anticipates client's needs in proactive manner and communicates needs to Service Director Resolves problems in a timely manner Works with Service Director to insure that all material (chemicals, etc) and resources (personnel, equipment, tools, etc) are available in sufficient quantities to assure efficient daily operations Tracks labor and materials and processes proper paperwork (payroll timesheets, materials used, accident reports, etc) in a timely manner Informs Service Director of repair requests. Upholds all inCon-trol policies and core values Supports inCon-trol vision and performs accordingly
Skills/Qualifications:
Motivated self-starter- Must be able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Strong Organizational abilities Effective communication skills--Ability to develop positive relationships with clients Ability to complete projects in a reasonable time frame, to the complete satisfaction of the customer Deal courteously and tactfully with employees, peers, superiors, and the general public Working knowledge of Hand and Power Tools Considerable Knowledge of occupational hazards and appropriate safety precautions. Must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude with the public.

Education/Experience:
Demonstrated experience with pumps and water quality required. Four years of experience in progressively responsible general maintenance operations High School diploma or equivalent preferred A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum educational requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have ability to navigate paved as well as rough construction sites. Ability to use radio, telephone, and computer to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, bending, standing, and walking.

All of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, including vault installation and waterproofing, is performed by inCon-trol's forces, not subcontractors. However, we can provide turnkey solutions on any of your projects using our network of skilled and experienced subcontractors.
