In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment including appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components to ensure continuous operation. Read schematics, technical manuals, and service diagrams to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot complex issues related to HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical systems using specialized tools. Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing or upgrading equipment and systems as needed. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and general maintenance. Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Service technician experience with a focus on diagnosing and resolving system failures efficiently. Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Construction experience is a plus for installation or upgrade projects within facilities. Leadership skills to oversee maintenance teams or coordinate with external contractors effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
