Commercial Real Estate Apartment Community Maintenance Technician Location:
Nacogdoches, Texas We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our commercial real estate apartment community in Nacogdoches, Texas. The ideal candidate will be HVAC certified, have expertise in daily and long-term swimming pool maintenance, and possess strong customer service skills. With at least 2 years of maintenance experience, you will be responsible for maintaining the property, ensuring all units are move-in ready, and addressing resident service requests promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Apartment Make-Ready Turns:
Prepare apartments for new tenants by completing necessary repairs, cleaning, and inspections.
Service Requests:
Respond to and complete work orders for various maintenance issues, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical work.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Swimming Pool Maintenance:
Handle daily and long-term maintenance of the property's swimming pool to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Grounds Maintenance:
Maintain the property's common areas, including groundskeeping and upkeep of amenities.
On-Call Duties:
Be available for after-hour emergency calls and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
HVAC certification is required. Expertise in daily and long-term swimming pool maintenance. At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or commercial real estate setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in general maintenance duties, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical work. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment community, maintaining high standards, and providing a safe, comfortable living environment for our residents.
