New Braunfels Smokehouse is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to add to our team. The New Braunfels Smokehouse has a long history, starting in 1945 of producing quality smoked meats that are shipped across the country. As a Maintenance Technician you will be able to be part of that history. Responsibilities

• Performing repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Perform electrical and plumbing work when needed
• Diagnose, disassemble, and repair or replace parts as needed
• Upkeeping grounds around and in facility when needed
• Conduct Routine Inspections of Production equipment and Facility
• Must follow all Safety and GMP policies in addition to maintenance guidelines.
• Be on call for after-hour facility support Requirements
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain focus while working independently or with a team.
• Must have strong communication skills
• Understanding of basic hand tools and power tools
• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals or have the willingness to learn how to read them.
• Basic Math skills are required
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the United States
• Must pass a background check, and drug screening Physical requirements
• Ability to Stand, Bend, and Stoop for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 50lbs or more.
• Be able to work in on loud machines.
• May work in damp, cold, and hot environments inside the facility and outside Preferred Qualifications
• Related degree from a technical college
• Experience with 3Ph 208 and 480 volts
• 3-5 years' experience working in a mechanical field.

Pay Dependent on experience! Hours per day Will vary based on demand.
