Manditory Requirements:
Must be able to work M-F 8am to 5pm without missing any days of work Weekends and holidays off Must have all your own tools needed to do the job Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to Orange, TX every weekday Must be able to work quicky, and provide quality work. HVAC experience preferred, but not required. Very secure company, consistant work, good pay with beneifits, plenty of opportunity for advancement. Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Property Maintenance Technician, where your skills will keep our residential communities safe, functional, and inviting. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems and facilities to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work will directly contribute to the overall quality of our properties. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where proactive problem-solving and excellent customer service are highly valued. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to address maintenance needs across residential units and common areas. Maintain facilities equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and other building systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management, providing courteous and effective solutions. Use hand tools and electrical equipment safely to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs or work orders, ensuring clear communication for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) in residential or commercial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in electrical work, plumbing maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, and building interior upkeep. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems and building infrastructure. Skilled in welding, carpentry (including residential painting), facilities maintenance, and use of hand tools. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Experience with electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including troubleshooting HVAC issues, plumbing system maintenance, and the use of ohmmeters or similar testing devices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English with residents and team members. Leadership qualities that enable effective supervision or mentorship of junior staff are desirable but not required.
