A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

We specialize in handyman repairs, general home maintenance, and light commercial facility work — and we're known for showing up on time, doing the job right, and treating every property like it's our own. We're growing our field team and looking for a skilled, reliable Handyman / Service Technician to deliver hands-on repair and maintenance work for our customers across the DFW Metroplex.

Pay:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform quality handyman, maintenance, and light repair work across a wide range of job types — carpentry, drywall repair, painting, fixture swaps, cabinet hardware, trim, and general punch-list work Deliver excellent, professional customer service on every job, in every home Accurately document work performed, materials used, and customer notes in our field service system Support the Lead Technician on larger jobs and commercial accounts Identify additional work or upsell opportunities and communicate them professionally to the customer and Lead Tech Maintain company tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good working order Represent the company professionally in every customer interaction
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
3+ years of hands-on handyman, maintenance, or construction experience Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Able to work independently and as part of a small team Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job documentation and scheduling — we'll train you on our systems
Preferred:
Experience with a field service CRM (Housecall Pro or similar) Broad general-handyman skills across carpentry, drywall, and painting Own hand tools
COMPENSATION
$24.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill set, paid bi-weekly by direct deposit
SCHEDULE & LOGISTICS
Part-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work for scheduled jobs — weekly hours discussed at interview Reports to our Plano shop; company vehicle used for job-site travel W-2 employee — payroll taxes withheld, no 1099 WHAT
