Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct appliance repair and installation tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in logs or computerized systems. Collaborate with team members to coordinate complex repairs or upgrades involving mechanical systems or construction projects. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC & appliance technology is essential. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively; experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices is preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience will be advantageous for larger projects or installations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or assisting in training initiatives are a plus.
