Blue Olive Pools | Texas Hill Country + South Texas Part-Time, Full-Time, or Contract | Leakey, TX + surrounding areas About Blue Olive Pools Blue Olive Pools is a growing family-owned pool service, repair, and leak detection company serving residential, commercial, and vacation rental properties throughout the Texas Hill Country and South Texas. The Job We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to support pool equipment repairs, diagnostics, leak detection, parts coordination, and field operations, with the opportunity to grow into a larger role within our repairs and parts division over time. While pool industry experience is a plus, it is not required. We are primarily looking for the right person with strong mechanical aptitude, professionalism, organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn. For candidates seeking part-time or contract work, this position may also be a great fit for someone semi-retired, experienced in a related trade, or simply looking to pick up additional work in a flexible environment. Benefits & Opportunities Competitive pay: $20-$40/hour DOE Part-time or full-time opportunities available Year-round, steady work Fuel allowance/company vehicle opportunities for the right candidate Take home a company vehicle and begin the workday directly from home for the right candidate Performance bonuses and advancement opportunities Hands-on training and certification opportunities Opportunity for long-term growth within the company Flexible, team-oriented work environment Work throughout the Texas Hill Country and South Texas Responsibilities Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting pool and spa equipment issues Repair and install pumps, filters, valves, chlorinators, automation systems, and plumbing components Assist with plumbing repairs and leak detections Help manage repair projects from diagnosis through completion Coordinate and procure parts through company distributors and vendors Compare pricing and availability between suppliers to support operational efficiency and cost control Receive and manage dispatched work orders through company software Document completed work with photos, notes, materials used, and repair recommendations Identify and communicate additional repair or maintenance needs during site visits Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition Communicate regularly with the Head of Operations regarding timelines, parts needs, and project updates Maintain a professional and courteous presence on job sites This role will primarily focus on repairs, equipment troubleshooting, and leak detection, while also supporting our cleaning and maintenance team with one-time services and specialty projects outside of the normal recurring cleaning route. Examples may include green-to-cleans, filter cleans, storm cleanups, pool startups/shutdowns, pressure washing, and equipment upgrade support. This position will not initially include heater repair work or advanced diagnostics; however, there is opportunity to grow into more advanced repair responsibilities over time.
