Job Title:
Data Center Tech Maintenance Technician Job Description As Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machinery. You will read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications while ensuring compliance with NEC wiring standards. Your role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using precision tools and diagnostic methods, removing, repairing, and replacing defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery. Read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications. Ensure compliance with NEC wiring standards. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using precision tools and diagnostic methods. Remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools. Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools to determine dimensional changes or wear. Adjust mechanical components and control instruments for proper functionality. Minimize downtime by communicating and reinforcing preventive maintenance practices with production teams. Document work, report irregularities, and coordinate follow-up actions. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety procedures. Essential Skills Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Preventive and corrective maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and safety procedures. Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction site experience preferred. Thorough working knowledge of industrial and mechanical equipment. Self-motivated and safety-oriented. Positive attitude and strong team contributor. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
