Available Help for . The hotel maintenance professional willensure the propertys physical structure, grounds, and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Core duties include diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues, executing preventative maintenance schedules, and responding promptly to guest requests to minimize inconvenience.

•Core Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Perform general repairs on room furniture, fixtures, lighting, appliances, and walls. Address specific technical issues related to plumbing leaks, faulty wiring, and heating/cooling systems.

Preventative Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and correct potential hazards or mechanical breakdowns before they impact guests.

Guest Service:

Respond to direct maintenance calls from the front desk or guests with a polite, solution-oriented approach.

Exterior & Grounds Upkeep:

Maintain the exterior appearance of the building, including landscaping, walkways, pools, and parking lots.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all health, safety, and fire regulations. Maintain accurate logs of inspections and repairs.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:

Typically 1year of experience in building, facility, or hotel maintenance.

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of carpentry, masonry, painting, and basic mechanical systems. Certifications in HVAC or electrical work are highly preferred.

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more), stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills for coordinating with the housekeeping and front desk teams, plus a customer-first attitude.
