Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance - Make Ready Technician to join our vibrant multi-family residential community. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing apartments for new residents by performing essential maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic touch-ups. Your expertise will ensure that each unit meets our high standards of quality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your diverse maintenance skills while contributing to a welcoming living environment for our residents. Duties Perform comprehensive make-ready tasks including plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC system servicing, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure all fixtures and pipes operate efficiently. Utilize hand tools, schematics, and electrical equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Repair and maintain building interior elements such as walls, flooring, doors, and ceilings to uphold aesthetic standards. Complete maintenance painting projects with attention to detail to enhance unit appearance. Follow safety protocols during all repair activities and maintain accurate records of work performed. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, repair, with a strong background in facilities equipment maintenance. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical work, welding, and carpentry. Ability to read schematics and use tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools effectively. Familiarity with electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using electrical experience. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly Knowledge of building interior maintenance standards and residential painting techniques. Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid experience with maintenance painting, plumbing repair, HVAC system repair, and facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
