Job Description

General Maintenance Technician I Support Office - San Antonio, TX 78249 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Education Level None Category Engineering Apply Description Provide general maintenance, repair, and occasional renovations of all Santikos facilities including building interiors, exteriors, and grounds. Participate in general maintenance projects in partnership with other trade-specific teams in the Facilities & Maintenance department within a challenging, fast-paced work environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required Continually maintain and provide a safe and code compliant condition and operation of all equipment and systems inside and outside Santikos facilities. Know and comply with all aspects of the building code, following strict adherence to Federal, State, and local laws, company policies, and department procedures/requirements at all times Ensure all CMMS work orders are comprehensive and completed within expected intervals Maintain and provide a safe and liability free environment inside and outside Santikos facilities. Must be able to inspect, diagnose, maintain, repair, and test, all general maintenance fields of responsibility Remove and replace or install all types of equipment, appliances, and signs Understand electricity enough to be able to test and make safe Demonstrates experience repairing and treating structures such as sinks, sprayers, toilets/urinals, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles, materials, and devices, including steel, copper, brass, and plastic. Be able to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches of work before meeting with Manager\Supervisor to discuss any proposed project before construction/repair Detect and self-perform or communicate all needed repairs for buildings, grounds, and equipment, entering work orders and preventative maintenance goals into the CMMS system whenever required May develop cost estimates for installation and repairs. Monitor contractors and subcontractors during repairs or new construction Keep Leads and Supervisors informed of project status/work progress, needed materials and equipment. Load and unload materials and supplies. Communicate and coordinate with other Facilities Services to facilitate work. Keeps up with on-call responsibilities and schedule, including emergency calls Know and comply with occupational health and safety (OSHA) regulations specific to the work and conduct on the job, including Safety Data Sheet (SDS) instructions, Hazard Review Checklists (HRCs) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Comply with all Santikos and Facilities Services policies and procedures. Support all management directives and the vision and values of Santikos Entertainment Participate in and follow through with Santikos process improvement initiatives into internal work processes. Promote employee engagement in continuous improvements and innovation Actively participate in meetings and training which may be scheduled outside of scheduled shifts Provide excellent customer service through effective, courteous and professional interactions with clients, colleagues and the Santikos community Maintain proper work attire or uniform at all times, in addition to company policy concerning appearance and grooming Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Valid Texas state driver's license or a license recognized as valid by the State of Texas Reliable vehicle for regular local travel to and from geographically dispersed work sites Incident-free driving record as documented by regular verification through Motor Vehicle reporting and on-board Company Vehicle GPS, camera, and/or other sensors and reporting Minimum of 2 years work experience performing general maintenance or repair functions Background check required
