SWIMMING POOL SERVICE AND REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Service and Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure they operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Responsibilities Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, skimming debris, balancing chemicals, and inspecting pool equipment. Diagnose issues with pool systems such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automation controls. Repair or replace faulty pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Conduct thorough inspections of pool components to identify potential problems before they escalate. Maintain accurate service records detailing work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance. Communicate clearly with clients regarding service procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance tips. Follow safety guidelines and industry standards during all repair and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance or repair role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools required for equipment repair and installation. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and general pool maintenance procedures. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics related to pool systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; willingness to travel locally for service calls. Pay:

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
