Duties Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and painting to uphold property standards. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately. Operate welding equipment and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed for specialized repairs or installations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise junior staff or apprentices during projects, providing leadership and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with facilities maintenance across residential, commercial, or manufacturing sites to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with clients and team members in English to explain repair processes, timelines, and technical details clearly. Requirements Proven experience as a handyman with a strong background in facilities maintenance or related fields. Proficiency in welding techniques and electrical systems, including reading schematics and using testing tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as plumbing, HVAC, or manufacturing equipment. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to perform residential painting and other finishing tasks with attention to detail. Supervising experience demonstrating leadership skills in managing projects or teams effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities and work orders. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Pay:
