Maintenance Technician

Description Level II Technicians on A shift and C shift (both day shifts). Hanyang owns and maintains the gas and chemical piping systems within Samsung. Their systems run all throughout the building. They have installed most of their equipment through the building in Taylor and are now building out their team who will maintain these systems. Right now they are hiring for their day shift positions, and will focus on filling night shift in the next couple of months. They will start with 5 Level I Technicians and 5 Level II Technicians on each shift. Hanyang will be flying in people from their plant in Korea to train our team members and get them up and running on performing the functions of this role on their specific equipment. o Key Responsibilities  Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on Chemical and Slurry Distribution systems to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation in a semiconductor manufacturing environment  Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on pumps, filters, valves, panels, piping systems, etc.  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic control/instrumentation issues  Respond to equipment alarms and emergency calls  Perform equipment / part checks, inspections, and parmeter monitoring  Support system startup, shutdown, flushing, chemical changeovers, and other similar activities required on site  Safely handle chemicals / slurry following SOPs, MSDS/SDS, and safety rules  Replace parts (filters, sensors, etc) when required  Document maintenance activities and complete shift handover reports  Support new installations, modifications, and other similar activities required on site  Follow all procedures required by law and the customer, not limited to EHS, PPE, LOTO, and Chemical Safety Procedures Skills Electrical, Troubleshooting, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Repair, Preventive maintenance, Service, Industrial, Electrical troubleshooting, 3 phase Top Skills Details Electrical,Troubleshooting,Mechanical,Hydraulics,Pneumatics,Repair,Preventive maintenance,Service,Industrial,Electrical troubleshooting,3 phase Additional Skills & Qualifications PLC - Omron is the brand Lift up to 40 lbs, reach overhead, work in a confined space, wear the full suit

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
