Kennel Technician / Facility Maintenance (Part-Time)

Job Overview Carlisle K9 Dog Training is looking for a hardworking, reliable Kennel Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of our training facility and property. This is NOT a sitting-at-a-desk job. This is a hands-on, active role that involves indoor and outdoor work on our 3-acre property. Sanitation and cleanliness are extremely important to our business, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards. This position is heavily focused on cleaning, organization, facility upkeep, and helping maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the dogs in our care. Duties Cleaning and sanitizing crates, kennels, bowls, and dog areas Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining the training room Picking up waste throughout the property and maintaining potty areas Sanitizing high-traffic dog areas and equipment Refilling water bowls and assisting with feeding routines Walking the property regularly to maintain cleanliness and organization Assisting with moving crates, cleaning supplies, buckets, equipment, etc. Monitoring dogs and reporting any health or behavioral concerns to management Assisting trainers with basic dog handling, walking, and exercise as needed Helping with miscellaneous property and facility tasks as needed Requirements Must be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in Texas weather Reliable transportation and punctuality are

Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Must be physically capable of lifting, moving equipment, bending, standing, and staying active throughout shifts Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed About Carlisle K9: We are a growing, family-operated dog training business focused on structure, professionalism, cleanliness, and high-quality care. We are looking for someone dependable who wants to grow with us long-term and become a valuable part of our team. This is currently a part-time position, but additional hours and growth opportunities may become available for the right person.
