Waller, TX 77484 What You'll Be Doing We're hiring immediately for a Facilities Maintenance Technician role in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment, building systems, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn various maintenance skills in a manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial facility environment. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Perform routine building inspections and report maintenance issues. Assist with basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, filters, and other facility components as needed. Support preventive maintenance activities on facility equipment and systems. Perform minor painting, patching, and general building repairs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment. Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and materials throughout the facility. Monitor facility conditions and identify potential safety hazards. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work with vendors and contractors under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. More duties may be assigned upon hire. What You'll Need 0-2 years of maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn building maintenance skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
