Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will work within a manufacturing facility focused on maintaining and repairing equipment such as mills, lathes, high horse-power motors, electrical systems, and electric-driven filter systems. This contract position offers the potential to transition to full-time based on your performance and department goals. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics. Work with blueprints, schematics, and control systems to ensure equipment is operating efficiently. Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks. Apply knowledge of mills and lathes in maintenance procedures. Essential Skills Experience in mechanical assembly and repair. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting, including control systems and hydraulics. Prior industrial manufacturing background. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Basic knowledge of mills or lathes. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is performed in a climate-controlled machine shop. Employees are regularly required to stand, use their hands, and occasionally walk. The role involves frequently lifting and/or moving objects weighing 25-50 pounds, with the use of a hoist/crane for heavier items. Work hours are 1st shift, 5:00 am- 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 2nd shift, 1:30 pm
- 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Settlement, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00
