Full-Time About the Role The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment in a continuous state of readiness. In this role, you will perform essential equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, prepare operational reports, and manage the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment, systems, and heavy machinery. Educational Assistance Program, holistic well-being programs, and a "Dress for your day" dress code Key Responsibilities- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, strictly following manufacturer-recommended service intervals and company procedures.
- Inspect the condition and operational status of plant machinery, performing necessary mechanical adjustments and routine repairs.
- Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
- Execute emergency repairs on production equipment to effectively address plant breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Report required complex repairs or abnormal equipment findings to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Promote a culture of safety by adhering strictly to all safety, environmental, and company policies, completing all necessary compliance paperwork in a timely fashion. What We Are Looking For
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training required.Experience:
Practical background in mechanical repair, equipment installation, or construction maintenance within heavy industry environments.Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude with general plant maintenance capabilities (e.g., changing screens, using a cutting torch, wrenching with hand tools). Stick/arc welding and light fabrication skills are highly advantageous.Equipment Operation:
Experience operating a skid-steer and man-lift is a plus.Computer Skills:
Basic computer literacy is required for logging maintenance reports and ordering parts. Physical & Safety Requirements- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and appropriately utilize Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
