Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Garage Door Installer & Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and openers, ensuring safety, functionality, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your hands-on skills, and contribute to the safety and convenience of our clients' homes and businesses. •
EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
•The advertised pay is $20 - $27 per hour and up based on experience. Service technicians will need to be able to diagnose, repair and install garage doors and motors. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds over your head, work comfortably off of 12ft tall ladders and be able to manage themselves on a daily service structured schedule. Previous work experience in the garage door industry is a must . Clean driving record is a plus. The more experience you have equals more pay. Duties Install new garage doors, openers, and related hardware using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Perform repairs on existing garage doors including replacing springs, cables, rollers, and panels Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal door operation and safety compliance Handle heavy lifting safely during installation or repair processes Complete detailed inspection reports and document all work performed for quality assurance Troubleshoot mechanical issues Qualifications Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction site work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations or repairs Experience with door hanging Hands-on experience with electrical systems related to garage door openers or other mechanical devices preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
