Our client is redefining how the world builds reliable energy infrastructure. They design and manufacture advanced composite utility poles that are lighter, stronger, and longer-lasting than traditional materials such as wood, steel, and concrete. Their poles are engineered for superior performance in the most demanding environments, providing utilities with a durable, low-maintenance, and sustainable solution for a more resilient grid We are seeking skilled and dependable Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of equipment and systems across our manufacturing facility. Technicians will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and complete repairs and rebuilds to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work collaboratively to minimize downtime and support plant performance. Technician levels will be determined based on demonstrated skills, technical knowledge, certifications, and years of experience within our Maintenance Progression System. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to support safe and reliable plant operations Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Maintain, rebuild, and repair pumps, drive systems, compressors, piping, valves, and related mechanical equipment Support installation, rebuilds, upgrades, and overhauls of critical production systems Perform pipe installation and maintenance work, including threaded and grooved connections Execute lubrication routes and preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work as needed to restore equipment functionality Use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and precision measurement instruments safely and accurately Interpret technical documentation, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and maintenance standards Operate shop and mobile equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, and overhead cranes (as applicable) Apply proper rigging, lifting, and Lockout/Tagout procedures during maintenance activities Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives Support equipment reliability efforts through proactive maintenance and problem-solving Mentor and support the development of junior technicians as experience level progresses Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment Maintenance Technician Qualifications Experience level and placement will align with demonstrated skill and the appropriate technician level within our Maintenance Progression System. High school diploma or GED required Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, welding, hydraulics, or a related field preferred Strong mechanical aptitude with experience performing equipment maintenance and repairs in industrial or manufacturing environments Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems Experience with pumps, drive systems, compressors, piping, valves, lubrication systems, and related plant equipment Ability to perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair work safely and effectively Proficiency using shop tools, power tools, and measurement equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement principles Overhead crane certification required or ability to obtain (as applicable) Strong commitment to safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed Maintenance Technician Benefits Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401k with company contributions Employer-paid life and short-term disability insurance PTO and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Opportunities for growth and development #INDOMNISimilar jobs in Saint George, UT
