Job Overview:
Maintenance Technician The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the upkeep and repair of the hotel's physical structure, equipment, and systems. This includes routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and responding promptly to guest service requests. The technician ensures that the property remains clean, safe, and in good working condition for guests and staff. At InnTrusted hotels, we want our guests to feel rested, energized, and ready for the day ahead of them. Familiarize yourself with all the services in the hotel and the local area to answer any question and give guests what they need to find their own way.

Take ownership and play your part to get things done by making things easier for guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting). Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment. Respond to maintenance-related guest service requests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with preventive maintenance programs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Report major repair needs or equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Assist with setup and breakdown for events or meetings when required. Replace light bulbs, filters, and batteries as needed. Confirm all items are restocked including paper items, linens, towels Inspect rooms for repairs and fixes and alert manager and maintenance as needed. Clean exterior hallways, windows, and entryway according to hotel standards.
Restock Bathrooms and Empty Trash Team Work:
Responsible to know, understand, and fulfil the InnTrusted Mission Statement. Create guest satisfaction by providing fast, friendly and genuine hospitality. Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service. Respond to all emergency situations in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining the hotel key security system.
Guest Loyalty:
Assist guests with basic knowledge of the local area to facilitate guest needs such as giving directions, identifying local attractions, etc. Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems. Follow the lost and found program.
Physical Requirements:
Walking and standing required throughout the entire shift. Reaching, bending, carrying, and crouching throughout the entire shift. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to safely use them. Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries immediately.
