- help grow the team and get rewarded What you'll do As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be at the heart of operations
- right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:
- Operate on basic precision manual machine tools such as; Vertical Milling Machine, Engine Lathe, Hydraulic Press, Key Broach
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and tractors, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial components
- Follow the precision guidelines and standards to install and replace various styles of bearings, bushings, and slides.
- Pump repair and rebuilds with precision alignments
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation by using hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions Your strengths as a Maintenance Mechanic
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic.
- Ability to understand and work efficiently with maintenance parts software.
- Able to maintain consistent attendance, positive attitude, and initiative.
- Team-oriented, with a strong desire to support and mentor junior mechanics or apprentices in developing their technical skills.
