Job Description
We're hiring a dependable, customer-focused Maintenance Technician with their HVAC certification to support daily operations at one of our multi-family apartment communities. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, we'd love to hear from you. Position Details Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Rotating on-call and overtime required (including snow emergencies) HVAC certification required Key Responsibilities Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally Perform general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and cleaning Assist with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed Work closely with the on-site manager and maintenance team Follow all safety standards, company policies, and Fair Housing laws Why Join Us? Drug-Free Workplace Qualifications:
HVAC certification required Previous maintenance experience (6+ months) or related field Exceptional customer service skills with a service-oriented attitude Ability to promote positive relationships and trust with residents, co-workers, and company staff Always displays a friendly and courteous attitude toward residents and team members Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and ladder use Detail-oriented with strong time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to rotate on-call shifts and work overtime for emergencies as needed High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screeningsSimilar jobs in Richmond, VA
