Our client, a leader in commercial and industrial facility management, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting building maintenance and technical services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Richmond, VA What's the Job? Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings and systems. Inspect, calibrate, maintain, test, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, pumps, and controls. Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the integrity of building infrastructure and grounds. Utilize CMMS computer systems to document tasks, maintain equipment histories, and input work orders efficiently. Participate in safety training and adhere to OSHA, local, and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment. What's Needed? Good general working knowledge of all trades and proven mechanical ability. Basic computer skills with familiarity in operating Building Management Systems preferred. Ability to work cooperatively with team members and communicate effectively. Attention to detail and understanding of business implications and decision-making. 2 years of related experience in commercial facility maintenance. What's in it for me?
