Job Description

At David Nice Builders, we craft construction art with integrity, relationships, and passion. We're seeking a skilled Millwork Machine Maintenance Technician to keep our Nicewood plant running smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do:
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Respond quickly to work orders, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimize downtime. Safely handle and dispose of materials/fluids, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with the Plant Manager to recommend equipment upgrades. Support facility needs, from routine checks to minor repairs, in a dynamic millwork environment.
Who You Are:
2+ years in facility maintenance or industrial mechanics (millwork/woodworking machinery experience a plus). Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems (PLC knowledge preferred). Familiar with OSHA standards and environmental regulations. Proficient with Android/iPhone, iPad, computers, and Microsoft Excel. Hold a valid driver's license; 30-hour OSHA training required within 30 days (HVAC/electrical certifications a plus). Adaptable, safety-focused, and able to work in varied conditions (dust, noise, temperature extremes). Passionate about embodying our culture of integrity and excellence. Why Nicewood?
