Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to support two senior care facilities in Woodstock, VT. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality and appearance of both buildings, with time divided between both buildings daily on the same campus. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our senior residents. This role requires someone who can effectively manage priorities across two facilities while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service. Candidates must demonstrate respect older adults, maintain professionalism, and strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and resident confidentiality requirements. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance. Handle general repairs and maintenance tasks. Diagnose mechanical issues. Repair or replace equipment, machines, fixtures and structures. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when specialized repairs are required. Ensure facilities remain safe, clean and well maintained for residents and staff. Maintain maintenance records and follow up on work orders in a timely manner. Qualifications Proven maintenance experience required. High school diploma or GED required. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to disassemble and repair machinery and equipment. Experience performing preventative maintenance and routine maintenance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional attitude and presentation. Ability to work independently. Excellent time management and follow through skills. Must pass state required background checks.
Pay:
$24.93 - $30.02 per hour
